She had a fairy birthday party (fairy/ferry-- yeah?) with birthday French toast. Not many people seemed to notice the wings and the ones that did didn't judge. Are Alaskans just crazy as a whole? Or just super accepting...
The afternoon was spent making open water crossings-- lots of rolling around. Never have I ever been anywhere close to being sea sick, but hey, there's always a first for everything. So I spent most of the day in bed and Brenda did some puzzles and hung out in the stateroom with me. We're quite the partying crew. Hopefully tomorrow night can have more of a celebratory mood in Seattle on solid ground.
Open water crossings face^
At dinner time the kitchen staff wanted to know where the fairy wings had gone to, so I guess people had noticed... Dessert was on the house (on the boat?) and we had brought our own tube of frosting for decorating purposes. I couldn't get the tube open all the way so... It's the thought that counts right?
We get off in Bellingham tomorrow around 10 am (maybe-probably-close to) because it's a boat and exact timing doesn't seem to be their forte around here. The first stop will probably be Starbucks so we can use wifi and update our anxiously awaiting fans.
