We have made it to Bellingham! Actually, we've made it to Shoreline (? not exactly sure where we are) which is just a little north of Seattle. The docking process took what seemed like a very long time this morning and led to a bit of a confused start up (trying to juggle the phone, gps, and getting Life is a Highway to play on queue was a bit difficult)
We got off of the ferry this morning and did not make it more than two blocks before this place
was calling our name. It was delicious. Chicago style pizza in... Washington? Yeah, I couldn't wait for Illinois. The area right uphill from the dock is very lovely, all old brick buildings with cute little shops. We found a local bakery and took a loaf for the road.
We found some outlet malls and spent the rest of the day shopping around and making our way closer to Seattle. A couple friends mentioned this place
So we stopped to check it out. Pretty nice for a casino parking lot, eh? Not many photos from today, you can just picture the Nike outlet. We are in a Days Inn for the night, I am not the expert hotel booking agent yet, so we got a smoking room :/ oops. It's not too bad here, but we'll be up and at 'em early tomorrow morning to get down to Seattle and check out what they have to offer down there.
